This service is for new commercial (non-domestic) buildings and includes a BRE Certified SBEM calculation and an accredited Energy Performance Certificate.

SBEMPLUS was developed in 2006 by CHB Design Services in response to a demand for the preparation of SBEM calculations carried out under the BRE Competent Persons Scheme, but also providing options & advice on methods of achieving compliance at no extra cost. When we carry out our assessments, we do not simply calculate the results and provide a 'pass or fail' answer to our clients, we offer advice and recommendations as to the most appropriate methods of compliance

SBEM - As we are registered with the Building Research Establishment, Building Control are authorised to accept our calculations as evidence that a building does not exceed the target CO2 emission rate so long as the building is designed & constructed in line with our report

EPC - This service now has the added benefit of also including an accredited Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) and has therefore been renamed SBEMPLUSEPC
