CHBS offers a range of design and analysis services in order to aid architects, developers, self-builders or clients to ensure a thorough appreciation of energy use both within the construction materials and the operating energy of the building.

We have access to a range of sophisticated building modelling software packages to enable us to assess thermal performance of buildings and optimise levels of insulation, areas of glazing, orientation and thermal mass.

We can provide services that range from a basic assessment of a building with regards to the optimum glazing area for solar gain, daylighting and reducing heat loss to a thorough cost analysis of the most cost-efficient method to meet the Passivhaus standard.

We can customise our services to meet the requirements and budgets of both self-builders and large developers.
